Mission Statement

AbunDance Academy of the Arts’ mission is to guide students through the exploration, preparation, and practice of pre-professional dance, providing in-depth instruction in Ballet, African, Modern, Hip-Hop, and Audition Preparation. Students are provided enrichment in Dance, Vocal, Performing Arts History, Choreography, Nutrition, and Health/ Fitness. Through their training, seminars, workshops, and performance exposure, they will explore and develop the ability to connect their dance and performance skills to that of their academic, artistic and overall life pursuits.

Vision Statement
​
AbunDance Academy of the Arts’ students will emerge as well-rounded performers who can easily adapt to a variety of movement styles and performance techniques. Upon completion of our Elite program, students will excel within a specialized middle/high school and college-level programs. We anticipate our alumnae to successfully complete our program and receive partial or full scholarships at some of the industry’s top institutions. Notable affiliations include The Juilliard School, Brooklyn Nets Dance Team, LaGuardia HS, The Ailey School, Mark Twain School, Dance Theatre of Harlem, Martha Graham School, Howard University Dance, Hunter College Dance, Broadway Dance Center, Ballet Tech among others.

The AbunDance Elite training program is geared towards aspiring performing artists, seeking to pursue full-time opportunities at the professional level.

Classes
We provide instruction through four small group models: Exploratory, Preparatory, Intermediate, and Advanced. With placement determined upon the basis of instructional needs, age, and performance track, our small-group models allow students to receive customized coaching and teaching from Top industry professionals. Through dance instruction, seminars, workshops, and performance exposure, AbunDance Elite students succeed, AbunDantly!
